This blog post has been a long time coming but I wanted to say a huge thank you for everyone who came along to the pop up shop last month and to all those who made it possible. We were honoured to be a part of this event which was organised by the wonderful Andy and Lisa of Poco Culina. It was such a wonderful week with some great businesses represented and some very informative talks by the likes of Jamie Raftery (The Holistic Chef) who shared his Kombucha making wisdom and made some beautiful fresh spring rolls, sushi and sauerkraut. Asparagasm were there with some amazing samples of their delicious nut cheeses which are easily some of the best i've tasted. We were pampered by the fine folk at Neal's yard remedies who kept the shop smelling divine. There were also incredible vintage clothes provided by the eternally stylish Su and Trev who looked amazing every time I saw them. There were some great pieces of art on display too, two of which now take pride of place in my kitchen. But Poco Culina's delicious food stole the show. If you haven't already ordered from them I would highly recommend trying it. The menu changes weekly and we have never been disappointed. Fresh, exciting and nourishing food delivered to your door by Andy on the lovely Poco bike. What a great week. Here's to more pop-up shops in the future and to working with like-minded people.
